  For Boston, for Boston,
  We sing our proud refrain!

  For Boston, for Boston,
  'Tis widsom's earthly fane.

For here all are one, and
  their hearts are true, and
  The towers on the Heights
  reach to Heaven's own blue.

  For Boston, For Boston,
  Till the echoes ring again!

NESN Teams up With ACC, Will Broadcast BC Sports

The New England Sports Network (NESN) recently announced a multi-year, multi-sport agreement with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) to broadcast men’s and women’s basketball games, plus conference championship games for other major sports.

The men’s basketball broadcast schedule features 9 Boston College games (full schedule here); NESN will feature the Eagle’s first ACC conference game on Sunday, December 11th against the University of Maryland Terrapins, and includes BC games against interstate rivals Holy Cross and the University of Massachusetts.

The women’s basketball schedule includes 2 Boston College games and coverage of the conference tournament from the quarterfinals to the championship game on Sunday, March 5th. NESN will air live coverage of the ACC field hockey and women’s soccer championships on November 6th, and the men’s soccer championship will be shown live on Sunday, November 13th.

The announcement by NESN, which is controlled by John Henry’s Red Sox ownership group, comes just months after Boston College hired Fenway Sports Group to help boost BC's marketing and corporate sponsorship presence.
