Boston College has enlisted the assistance of Sasaki Associates Inc., a Watertown-based architectural and design firm, to help develop BC's Master Plan. Sasaki has worked with Boston College before (Conte Forum, Robsham Theater), and has quite a resume; Sasaki's clients include both the most prestigious universities in the nation (e.g. the Massachusetts Institute of Technology) as well as some of the most modest, junior colleges (Boston University).
Considering the newly-acquired Brighton Campus, Sasaki Principal Daniel Kenney noted that "the decisions BC makes during the next year will set a direction for the next few decades, probably more."
Those of us on the outside of the trustees meeting room can look forward to a Web-site dedicated to the Master Plan, which will provide project updates and a forum for questions and comments.
